The Best Bartender of Russia 2017

February 6, 2017 Calvados Nouvelle Vogue International Trophies celebrated the International Day of Bartenders with the Russian final of the international competition of bartenders. 


Every year IDAC (Interprofession Des Appelations Cidricoles) invite professional bartenders and students in bartending to imagine, mix and craft the next best cocktails, based on one specific spirit, Calvados... and around one single topic, inspired by Normandy. This year’s topic was taken from the French poet Charles Baudelaire’s «Free man, you will always cherish the sea!». Their Calvados-based cocktails have to reflect what the sea means to them personally. 


Don’t miss a chance to taste the award-winning Bottled Letter cocktail (Calvados, Lillet Blanc infused with water plants, cherry cider, tobacco bitter and sea flavored fog on top) by Nikita Khlopyanov at City Space Bar & Restaurant! 


In April Nikita goes to Grandville in Normandy to represent Russia.
